Intermediate Team

Our intermediate team were heavily defeated by Easkey in the first round of the Division 2 league last Saturday. The team are due to play Tubbercurry on Bank Holiday Monday at 2pm in Kilcoyne Park in the next round. Easkey are the opposition once more next weekend in the Benson Cup, which will take place in Quigabar.   31/03/13

The intermediate team were defeated by Tubbercurry in the league and Easkey in the Benson Cup in the past week. The lads will travel to Curry next Sunday afternoon for a league game, throw in at 2pm. In other news, we have been drawn alongside St Farnans and Cloonacool in Group Three of the intermediate championship.  07/04/13

Our intermediate team fell to a disappointing 1-6 to 0-5 loss against Curry last Sunday afternoon. We host Owenmore Gales next week-end, time and date have yet to be confirmed. 14/04/13

The intermediate team fell to another disappointing defeat last Saturday, losing to Owenmore Gaels on a scoreline of 2-14 to 1-11. Drumcliffe/Rosses Point are the visitors to Quigabar next weekend, time yet to be confirmed.  21/04/13

The intermediate team shipped a heavy defeat last Saturday evening against Drumcliffe/Rosses Point.  The lads play Castleconnor next Saturday in Bonniconlon at 7pm.  28/04/13
The intermediate team fell to another disappointing defeat last Saturday evening, Castleconnor running out 1-13 to 0-5 winners in Quigabar. The team are currently bottom of the league table, and will hope for an upturn in fortunes next Saturday at home to Calry/St Josephs, throw in at 7.30pm.   05/05/13


Our intermediate team were defeated by Calry/St Josephs last weekend. St Johns are the opposition next week in Stenson Park, Cuilbeg - Time and date TBC.  12/05/13

  The intermediate team were involved in no action last weekend. The next game is on the June Bank Holiday weekend vs St Johns.  19/05/13

The intermediate team had their division two game away to St. John’s which was to be played on Sunday postponed and is now rescheduled for Wednesday evening, 5th June, at Stenson Park, Carraroe at 8.00pm.  They are down to play Coolaney/Mullinabreena on Saturday evening at home at 7.30pm.   02/06/13

The intermediate team had to concede to St. John’s on Wednesday evening because of unavailability of players. They played Coolaney/Mullinabreena on Saturday evening at home where they lost on a scoreline of 2-10 to 5-12.   09/06/13

The Intermediate team had another difficult outing on Saturday evening last away to St. Farnan’s losing by 4-08 to 0-05. The team have no game next weekend and return to action the following weekend at home to Eastern Harps.   16/06/13
Despite a win over Eastern Harps in the final round of the league last week, our intermediate team were relegated to Division 3 having finished bottom of the table.   07/07/13


The intermediate team took part in the Calry 7’s tournament last Sunday, and reached the quarter finals. Well done to the Calry/St Joseph’s club and the organisers on putting together a great event in aid of a worthy cause. 14/07/13

Last Sunday saw the intermediate championship get underway, and unfortunately our lads lost to St Farnans on a score-line of 0-14 to 1-7. The team started slowly but had chances in the second half to get something from the game, but it wasn’t to be.
           Nonetheless, attention now turns to the meeting with Cloonacool in round 2 on August 18th.   04/08/13

The intermediate team secured a 3-11 to 2-5 win over Cloonacool last weekend in round three of the championship. Attention now turns to the play off, where we will meet Castleconnor with the winner progressing to the quarter final. Details of that game were not available at the time of writing – please keep an eye out locally for time, date and venue. 18/08/13


Unfortunately, our intermediate team were knocked out of the championship by Castleconnor on Saturday evening last, 1-8 to 0-5 the final score. Our lads now must negotiate a relegation semi-final vs Eastern Harps, details of that fixture will be made available during the week.   25/08/13

The intermediate team were defeated in the Intermediate Football Championship relegation semi-final last Saturday evening, losing to Eastern Harps 0-11 to 0-9. Unfortunately, the team now must play Owenmore Gaels in the relegation final.  08/09/13

Our intermediate team are scheduled to play Owenmore Gaels in the Intermediate Championship relegation final on the weekend of September 28th/29th15/09/13


The intermediate team drew with Owenmore Gaels in the Intermediate Football Championship relegation final, 1-7 to 0-10.  29/09/13

Well done to our intermediate team who ensured they would remain an intermediate championship side for 2014, after they defeated Owenmore Gaels 3-9 to 1-13 at Dromard last Sunday in the relegation final replay. This was a difficult year for the team with numbers seriously depleted for a variety of reasons, and unfortunately the lads will play in Division 3 of the league next year after relegation from Division 2. However, great credit is due to Eamonn O’Malley and Declan Hughes, who stuck with and managed the team, often under very difficult circumstances this year, and the club extends its thanks to both the players and management for their efforts in 2013. 06/10/13

The minor team secured a hard fought win against Geevagh last week in round one of the league. Next up is a home game vs Drumcliffe/Rosses Point on April 2nd.  17/03/13

Our minors had a good win over Drumcliffe/Rosses Point last week, 6-5 to 1-7 the final score. Bunninadden are the visitors to Quigabar this Tuesday evening at 7pm. 07/04/13

The minor team are away to St Michaels next Thursday evening, throw in at 7pm. 14/04/13

The minor team were defeated by St Michaels last Sunday evening, 3-11 to 3-7 the final score. The team travel to Templeboy this Thursday evening to play St Farnans, throw in at 7pm.   21/04/13

Well done to our minor team who have qualified for the C league semi-final, thanks to a 3-8 to 1-9 over St Farnans last Sunday. Details of the knockout stages will be made available when we are notified. 28/04/13

The minor team missed out on a place in the C league final after a titanic battle with Geevagh last Thursday evening. With the scores all square at full time, Geevagh pulled away in extra time to secure a 4 point win. Our lads now have a break until the championship, which takes place after the state exams in June.   12/05/13

Our minors had a two point win over Bunninadden last Thursday evening in the ‘C’ championship –that result leaves our boys top of the table.   18/08/13

Our minors are due to play Drumcliffe/Rosses Point this Thursday evening in the ‘C’ Championship, throw in at 7pm in Quigabar.   08/09/13

The minor team received a walkover from Drumcliffe/Rosses Point last week. They are due to play Bunninadden next Thursday evening at 7pm in Quigabar.   15/09/13
 Our minor team play St Farnans in the Minor ‘C’ Championship final on Saturday evening next in Easkey at 5pm. Please try to come and support the lads who have gone unbeaten in their campaign thus far. Best wishes to the management and their panel of players.  22/09/13

Minor: Our minor team won the ‘C’ Championship on Saturday evening as they defeated St Farnans 2-17 to 2-14 in the final at Easkey, after a thrilling hour of action. A slow start meant our boys were at one stage 1-7 to 0-2 down, but a resilient final 45 minutes ensured the title was coming back to Enniscrone. Credit must go to the management team of Enda Mulrooney, Brian Mahon and Brian Coleman for all their hard work with the team, with Enda and Brian Mahon doing terrific work with this side since U8’s. The team was as follows: Darragh O’Regan, Martin McManus, Hugh Cawley, Dean Greer, Cian Mulrooney, Dónal Mullaney, Jack Kilcullen, Mark O’Dowd, Tom Mahon, Nathan Hannon, Ronan Caheny. U16 Team

The u16s had a comprehensive 5-12 to 0-5 win over Bunninadden on Sunday last  at home in the first round of the league.  07/04/13

The U16 team played Geevagh away on Friday evening in the second round of the league and came away victorious on a scoreline of 1-15 to 4-0.  14/04/13

The u16 team had a good win over St Michaels last week.They are away to St Pats this week, throw in is at 7pm on
Monday evening.  28/04/13

The u16 team have qualified for the C league final, which is due to take
place on May 20th. They had a comprehensive victory over St. Pats last Monday evening away winning by 7-18 to 0-6.  05/05/13

The u16 teams league final is pencilled in for next Monday, May 20th, with a venue yet to be decided. The squad had a useful workout vs Bonniconlon in a challenge game last Sunday morning in preparation for the decider. Please support the team if possible   12/05/13

The u16 team contest the C league final on Monday evening, May 20th, against St Michaels in Templeboy at 7pm. The lads have done very well so far this year and support for the boys is very welcome. Best of luck to everyone involved. 19/05/13

The u16 team begin their championship campaign against St Michaels on Monday evening at 7pm in Quigabar.   30/06/13Our u16’s travel to Keash on Monday evening to take on Eastern Harps in the second round of the championship. Throw in at 7pm.   07/07/13 Our u16’s were heavily beaten by a strong Eastern Harps side last week in round 2 of the championship, 7-11 to 1-6 the final score.  14/07/13

Our u16’s suffered a 3-8 to 1-10 defeat at the hands of Coolaney/Mulinabreena in round 3 of the championship last Monday.  04/08/13At U16 level, Coolera/Strandhill defeated our boys convincingly in the ‘B’ Championship on Monday evening. 19/08/13

Our u16’s had a good win over Castleconnor last week, and now face the same opposition in a play-off game tomorrow (Monday) at 6.30pm in Quigabar. 08/08/13

Our u16’s bowed out of the ‘B’ Championship last week at the hands of Castleconnor, the final score was 5-6 to 3-6. Well done to the players and management on their efforts for the year.   15/09/13


U14 Team



The u14’s first round league game was postponed last week, and will now take place next Friday evening at 7pm in Quigabar.  28/04/13      

The u14 team made a fine start to their league campaign, defeating St Michaels 8-12 to 2-2 last Friday. The squad travel to Oxfield next Friday to take on Drumcliffe/Rosses Point at 7pm.  05/05/13

The u14 team continued their good form, securing their second win in a row last Friday over Drumcliffe/Rosses Point, 9-7 to 1-4 the final score. Bunninadden are the visitors to Quigabar next Friday at 7pm.   12/05/13

Unfortunately, the u14’s unbeaten run came to an end last Friday evening, with Bunninadden securing a well-deserved victory in Quigabar. The team travel to Grange next Friday evening to take on St Molaise Gaels, throw in at 7pm.  19/05/13

Our u14’s had a good win over St Molaise Gaels last Friday evening, 10-10 to 1-10 the final score. The next outing for the team is on June 7th vs St Pats.   26/05/13

Our U14 team have a busy week ahead with a challenge match on Monday evening against Tourlestrane at home at 7.30pm and on Friday evening at home again against St. Pat’s in the final round of the league.   02/06/13

Our U14 team played St. Pat’s in the final round of the league at home where they were triumphant at the final whistle winning by 6-14 to 0-4. They now meet Bunninadden in the C league final on a date yet to be confirmed.   09/06/13

Our u14’s advanced to the ‘C’ league final after a highly impressive 6-14 to 2-5 win over St Pats last Friday evening.  They now play Bunnindden in the decider on Thursday evening next.   21/07/13

Commiserations to our u14 side and their management team on their defeat in the ‘C’ league final last week against Bunninadden. Nonetheless, the lads can be proud of their efforts thus far and will now turn their attention to the championship which gets underway shortly.  28/07/13

Unfortunately our u14 team were defeated in their ‘C’ championship final last Friday evening, with Geevagh running out 1-12 to 0-8 winners at Tubbercurry. Commiserations to the players and their management team – they can all be proud of their efforts this year, a year in which the panel consistently improved, and we hope to see them all back in the black and amber again next year. 29/09/13

U12 Team

The U12 team had a disappointing result away to St. Pat’s last week losing 0-28 to 0-8. They play a challenge match at home to Crossmolina on this Thursday evening.  Their next league match is at home to St. Michael’s on 11th June.   02/06/13

The U12 team had a great win over St. Michael’s on Tuesday evening winning on a scoreline of 0-24 to 0-05. The young players were very impressive on the night. Their next game is away to Ballisodare on June 25th.   16/06/13Our u12 team had a fine 7 point win over Bunninadden last Tuesday.   14/07/13

Well done to the u12’s who performed very well in defeating Ballymote 0-22 to 0-10 last Tuesday evening. 18/08/13

The u12 team take on Curry in the ‘C’ cup semi-final tomorrow (Monday) at 6pm in Curry. Good luck lads. 08/09/13
